Qualified candidates will benefit from:



Exposure to Local Government:

Gain invaluable insights into local government operations through exclusive access and engagement with key officials, including: the Waukee Police Chief and Fire Chief, Waukee Mayor, Waukee City Administrator, and Waukee Community Schools Superintendent.



Engaging Presentations:

Participants engage in thoughtfully-designed, interactive sessions that introduce practical leadership concepts and self-awareness tools, including CliftonStrengths and Working Genius. These experiences help individuals better understand their own strengths, how they work best, and how to collaborate effectively with others.



CIVIC IMPACT Project:

Through selecting, creating awareness, and developing fundraising efforts for a community betterment project participants gain valuable experience in giving back and teamwork.



Professional Networking:

Participants have the opportunity to expand their professional networks through curated events and interactions with classmates, board of directors, and esteemed alumni.

The Waukee Leadership Institute has been developing leaders in Waukee, Iowa since 2006.
